With the class leading thinPRO subwoofers, we spared no expense. Could we do a more affordable version while still achieving impressive results? The answer is yes, the thin10. We start with the Patented and Patents Pending design that changed the game for shallow subwoofers. The NBR spider and axial force transfer assembly allows for unparalleled performance in a multitude of applications. With a mounting depth of less than 3”, if it won’t fit in the desired location, you probably aren’t putting a subwoofer there.
The FEA optimized dual gap motor structure features a massive motor with double stacked strontium magnets. This maximizes flux density and control for an impressive 17mm of linear xmax. The cone is a strong, lightweight Paper and Kevlar material. The 4.5” voice coil, available in 2 or 4 ohm, provides a powerful moving force with 500W RMS power handling.
The point of a shallow subwoofer is maximum performance in a small enclosure. The thin10 is perfect in both small sealed and ported enclosures. Sealed box sizes range from 0.25-0.8cu ft, with the sweet spot at 0.35cu ft. Ported enclosures range from 0.4-1.0cu ft, with 0.6cu ft recommended for optimum performance.
