link1400.8plus
The link1400.8plus is the total package amplifier. It can power an entire system without limitations on features or performance. We start with 8-channels of input, so you can do a 4-way set up with a single amplifier. We are introducing matrix summing for the first time in a non-DSP amp. This means you can assign any input to any output for total flexibility over summing. The link1400.8plus has onboard highpass, bandpass and lowpass crossovers. This is the first amplifier to feature our patent pending autoBASS circuit that corrects bass roll-off.
We can’t forget about power. The link1400.8plus is rated at 175 watts RMS x 8 @ 2 ohms or 450 watts RMS x 4 @ 4 ohms BTL. Wāvtech’s proprietary bassFREQ processor with 24dB crossover, subsonic filter and PEQ can be used on channels 5/6, 7/8 or combined 5/6/7/8. The channel 7/8 RCA input can be converted to a 10V RCA output to feed signal to an even more powerful subwoofer amplifier while still utilizing the bassFREQ preamp. Like all Wāvtech amplifiers, it is compatible with Start/Stop systems and is EV Ready. The optional linkRC can be used to control the level of the channels 5/6, 7/8 or 5/6/7/8 from the front of the vehicle.
